Tuition

Other Fees and Expenses:
All students will be required to pay additional school fees including but not limited to SMART Enrollment Fee (approximately $45/year), Bus fee (for those riding the bus to school) musical instrument rental (3rd grade and up), private music lessons (4th grade and up), any additional class-related expenses such as field trips (which may range from $100 to $500/year, depending on the grade), Extended Day Care and Vacation Camps. It is our hope that all families participate in annual fund raising to the extent that they are able.

Enrollment Deposit:  A refundable enrollment fee of $1,000 is required upon enrollment for your child in the 2009-09 school year. This one-time deposit will be held by GWS until: 1) graduation from GWS or 2) written notice of withdrawal from GWS and completion of the enrolled school year.

Tuition Assistance: Limited financial aid is available to assist families who could not otherwise attend. Early application is required. The application and materials fee applies to all students regardless of financial aid.  Financial aid applications are due by January 31st.  Tax forms and SSS reports must be in the Greenwood School office by February 8th.

• You must also complete and return the Greenwood School Tuition Assistance Application and the School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS).
• Please refer to the SSS website at sss.ets.org to fill out your PFS form online. Greenwood School’s 2008-09 Tuition Assistance Application packet will be available from the Greenwood School office by January 7.
  

Sibling Discount: After paying full tuition for the oldest child, a 15% sibling discount is
offered for the second child and a 20% discount is offered for each subsequent child,
out of consideration for families with several children attending GWS.
