The Greenwood School curriculum includes: experiential block learning, integration of the arts, and a deep connection with nature. As in classic Waldorf education, our main teachers journey through the grades with their students. Academic lessons are supplemented with a broad range of enrichment programs in ecology and science (through our weekly Nature Day), art, poetry, gardening, language, handwork, drama, movement, and music. Cultivating academic excellence and the love of learning is at the heart of our curriculum.
To ensure the optimum learning opportunity for the children, Greenwood School's policy requests that children do not watch television or use the computer on school nights. Occasional movies on weekends are permitted. Please find our media guidelines
