Learn how to solo! Musical improvisation is a skill that sounds daunting to many, but is quite accessible given the proper tools. In this class, students will explore relationships between chords and scales that match those chords. Using jazz principles, we will practice soloing over jazz, rock and classical music. All pitched instruments welcome (no drums or unpitched percussion). Students must be able to play all sharps and flats within at least one octave of their instrument to join. This is a 1 hour class.
