Adventure Running is a mash up of cross country running and orienteering. We like to think of it as the Waldorf equivalent of Pokemon Go!   It develops agility and coordination while teaching children navigation skills. A typical Adventure Running session consists of a run with three progressive stations. The first station focuses on rhythm, pace, flexibility, and adaptability. The second station focuses on agility and the development of a strong, coordinated body. The third station focuses on orienteering—connecting two dimensional reality with three dimensional reality and developing critical thinking skills as well as clear objective observation skills. The goal ,of course, is to create a balanced individual.

Required: Students should wear running/cross-training shoes and athletic wear and bring a water bottle.

COST: $250
