“Stargazing”

A thin metal staircase leads up to the soft roof.
Wrap your mind around the night.
The sunset is long gone, the air cooled by misty moonlight.
Look above,
a myriad of stars:
innumerable,
uncountable
luminescent.
Make this moment perfect.
Lie own on the cool tiles and breathe in the bodies hovering.
Remote,
incandescent.
Share the night's romance with the sky.

“If”

If thyme flies
Cook it right away

If you have butterflies in your stomach
Eat some spiders

If the moon is made of cheese
get a mouse

if the man in the moon doesn’t like cheese,
then that’s a problem
