Application Process: Admission to Greenwood School may occur throughout the school year depending on openings in our classes. Class openings are filled from a pool of applicants who have completed the application process. After visiting the school, you may apply on behalf of your child by submitting the following application forms. A complete application packet includes:

1. Pre-School Application and Kindergarten — 8th Grade Application  (tell us about your child)
2. Parent Introduction   (tell us a little about yourself)
3. Teacher Recommendation:  K and 1st Grade | 2nd — 8th Grade  (written by your child’s current teacher, please)
4. $75 Application Fee

Once we receive your complete application packet, we will arrange an interview with you and your child and our faculty.

If you are applying for our early childhood program, you meet with the teachers in the kindergarten classroom while your child plays.

For grade school applicants, you and your child meet with the class teacher. After the grade school interview, your child is invited for several visiting days in the classroom, including an environmental field studies day. Following the interview and classroom visiting days, you are formally notified by mail of acceptance.

Enrollment Process: Enrollment in Greenwood School is finalized with the return of a signed enrollment contract and payment of an enrollment fee and a refundable deposit. Tuition is set annually by Greenwood School’s Board of Trustees. To assist families who could not otherwise attend, limited financial aid is available, by application. Greenwood School also offers sibling discounts and we encourage families, who are able, to donate the discount back to the school
